So maybe one day he will go from his size 7 shoes to his daddy's size 14.

BUT FOR NOW HE'LL JUST WEAR HIS DADDY'S AROUND THE HOUSE:-)

This week was a laid back one. We didn't do much during the week aside from our normal routine. Our friends, the Forsyth's had a new baby on thursday!! Her name is Sadie. We do playdates with them every week. They also have a little boy, Jack, who is Dylan's age.

Dylan is doing new cute things everyday so its hard to keep up with him, but this week I think his BIG accomplishments were his Dora and Diego puzzles! They are both 9 piece puzzles that we have been working on for a while. He always needed my help, but we put the pieces in one-by-one in the same order every time AND ONE DAY HE GOT IT ALL BY HIMSELF! I walked out of the room to put some laundry away and I came back in the room and Dylan looked at me and said "mommy proud!!" I always tell him Im so proud when he does new things so that was his way of telling me he did it!! I was so proud of him. Once he mastered the Diego puzzle he was determined to do the Dora all by himself too. Now he does those puzzles OVER AND OVER again all day long. He is so proud of himself. He even took the puzzles up to grandmas so he could show off his skills. Me and Mike are just so proud:-) AND he learned to sing his ABCs by himself.... such a smart little boy.

This weekend Jonah and Kyla, our new friends from church, invited us over for dinner. So last night we went over there for some yummy lasagna and a couple competitive games on their Wii. Me and Mike have only played once before, so we didnt really know what we were doing. We had a lot of fun and Dylan loved watching us take turns playing mario cart, bowling and tennis. We were going to go for a round of boxing, but it was Dylan's bedtime so we went home. We had a great night with them though! Then after we put Dylan to bed me and Mike watched the movie "17 Again"...haha. We were in the mood for a funny stupid comedy. It was cute. My friend Brittany spent the weekend in the hospital so please pray for her as they try and figure out whats wrong:-(

So tomorrow will begin the last week I have until school starts next Monday. I am so excited to be going back. I dont think I like summers as much as I used to...I like being in school. Friday is my 24th birthday...that sounds so old to me! Well I will keep you updated... Hope everyone has a wonderful week and a great Sunday afternoon!
