24...thats so old....

Today was such a great day!! It started out in the morning... Mike let me sleep in until 9:00. I woke up and as soon as I walked in the room dylan screams, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMY"! It was the best. Mike told him it was my birthday earlier in the morning, but didnt tell him to say anything. That was all on his own. Then he sings me Happy Birthday, "Happy Birfday to you Happy Birfday Mommy Happy Birfday to you"!! The best gift of the whole day:-) Grandma taught him to say 24, so all day he was saying "Mommy Birthday twentyfour". Then I got 24 beautiful pink roses and my favorite bagel for breakfast. It was a great start to the day.

After just hanging out at the house the rest of the morning we went up to grandmas house to take Dylan to play with grandma for the afternoon. Mike took me to Mill Ave and we ate lunch at ZTejas! So Yummy:-) Then we walked around and I got some cute clothes at one of my new favorite stores, Pitaya. We walked around then I told Mike, "I appreciate this afternoon and I am having so much fun, but I dont think I can walk in this heat anymore..haha". It was SO HOT! So we went and picked Dylan up and went home to relax in our over air conditioned apartment for a few hours before my birthday dinner and "taco night" up at mikes parents house.

We went up to Mikes parents house and were greeted at the door by a stranger. We introduced ourselves and walked in. It turns out it was Phil in disguise:-) He shaved his mustache off after 30 years!! None of us had ever seen him without it, except Mary (when they got married). We had yummy tacos then went in the living room and I got to open some gifts. So Sweet of everyone:-) so thoughtful! Then we had cupcakes and I blew out my "24" candles, making a wish of course. We had an assortment of all different kinds of cupcakes: chocolate covered cherry, strawberry, vanilla, pina colada, german chocolate, chocolate... so yummy! We had a great night with the family!! Thank you all so much.

We went home and watched some Barney, cuddled and had some juice then Dylan went to bed. We rented "I love you man" and so me and Mike stayed up watching that. Funny movie, great day, the best friends and family I could ask for!!!
