AND THE FALL BEGINS....

This week was one busy week. The Fall semester of school started. I am so happy to be back in classes. I actually think I enjoy being in school more than I thought because I really missed it over the summer. I am excited about the classes I am taking and the teachers are great. I can tell its going to be a good semester. Aside from walking to class in this HEAT (115 or so all week) and finding parking, the first week at school was a success. I miss having my mornings to spend with Mike and Dylan. I have the afternoons with Dylan and Mikes home in the mornings while Im at school. Dylan goes up to grandmas a couple times a week and LOVES his special time up there.

Me and Dylan went to a play group on Friday. It was a lot of fun. Danielle is the one who invited us to go. We have done a playdate with Danielle and her son McKay before. All the rest of the moms were mostly new faces, a few I had met before. Stephanie, the host, had it all set up so cute. All the kids had these cute little picnic tables to sit at with there own little lunch (sandwich, macaroni and cheese, grapes, pretzels and a little juice box). Dylan hadn't ever had a juice box, but he loved it! I guess we'll have to start getting him some at the store:-) The moms all had a yummy salad and bread that she made. All the moms enjoyed talking while the kids ran around and played. Most of the kids were Dylans age. After we had lunch we went outside and we all played with bubbles!! Dylan loves bubbles, he wants me to blow them so he can run around and pop them, one by one! At the end she had a cute little goody bag all the kids got to pick something out of, and Dylan got an Elmo book about colors! It was such a fun playdate! I love doing things like that... meeting new moms and watching Dylan have so much fun playing with the other kids.

TACO night was re-scheduled from Friday to Saturday night due to new Bishop duties:-) So we went up to mikes parents house for tacos tonight. Always enjoy our family dinners, we're so lucky to have them so close by!!
