I have been wanting to take Dylan to the zoo for so long now. He loves animals! He knows all the animals in his Dora/Diego shows, his noahs ark, and all his books. He loves to make all their sounds...especially the lion. He doesnt just know the main animals (elephant, zebras, monkeys), he was asking where the Maned Wolf, the Macaw, the rhino, the jaguar, the hippo, the sloths and the tapiers were!! All due to his Diego/Dora shows. We were just waiting for the weather to get bearable. So this weekend was perfect. We went at 9:00am which was the ideal time. It wasnt too crowded and wasnt hot yet! Im glad we waited until he was this age though because if we went when he was a little younger I dont think he would have enjoyed it as much as he did.

The giraffe feeding area. You can go up there and the giraffes will come to you and eat out of your hand. Of course Dylan wasnt interested, but it was cool to watch.

Fun! Last time we went Jack wasn't even interested in the animals. All he wanted to do was push the buttons on the signs that talk to you about the animals. UGH. That's awesome that you could take Dylan without a stroller. Jack's too fast for me. I have to keep him strapped in. We should go to the zoo this winter together!
