Dylan's new potty and Mike's 28th Birthday!!

Dylan got a new potty this past weekend. We went to the store and he picked it out and we decorated it with Dora stickers and put his name on it:-) We thought we would try and make it fun and get him used to it before we tried to get him to actually use it. So we just put it in the living room so he could sit on it and watch t.v. Yesterday I told Dylan I would be right back I was going to the bathroom. I came back in the room and he was naked and sitting on his potty going pee pee!!! I couldnt believe it! I didnt even tell him how to use it or what to do he just did it all on his own. Such a cute and smart little boy:-) So I guess this is the beginning of the potty training process. Looks like it might not be as hard as I thought.

Mikes 28th birthday was yesterday. We had a great day. Mike had the day off work so we just relaxed together all day. Then last night we went to his parents house for his birthday dinner. We opened some presents and sweet/funny cards and then had ice cream cake! I think Mike had a pretty good 28th birthday! We enjoyed having him at home for it:-)

Christmas at home in Arizona!!

We had a great christmas at home:-) Dylan missed everyone SO MUCH! Grandma, Papa and Claire picked us up at the airport and as soon as Dylan saw them he took off running towards them. We went home and waited for Daddy to come home from work. Dylan was all smiles when he finally got home!!! Then we went up to Grandmas house for a yummy dinner. Dylan was happy to be there and danced like crazy to all his favorite videos, especially "Noah's Ark"! It was nice to be home. They had Mike's cousin Marc for dinner, who I had never met. Mike and Marc enjoyed catching up and we listened to Claires wonderful annual christmas piano performance. She was amazing and Papa got it all on videotape!

Then we woke up Christmas morning, opened presents at home, went up to Grandmas to open presents and spend time with family. We had a nice morning/afternoon. We went home for our afternoon nap then back up there for dinner. We played board games and had a very nice christmas evening together. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! We love you all so much and are so happy we were able to celebrate with both families!
