Our ONE YEAR anniversary!!

I cant believe its really been a whole year since we got married! This year feels like it just flew by. Seems like just yesterday that we were in Dallas for our amazing wedding weekend with all our family and friends. It was so nice to have everyone there to celebrate! I can't remember the last time we were all in the same place at the same time! Everyone is so spread out everywhere and I know I miss all my family in Texas and Seattle so much!! Mike and I were talking at dinner about what a wonderful family we have and how lucky we are!

We had an amazing anniversary:-) Mike made me a "Happy Anniversary" cake!! so sweet:-) He got our marriage license framed in this beautiful black frame and got me pink flowers, I made him a gift (a jar that says LOVE on it and I filled it with little goodies and sweet notes), we got the "Live, Laugh, Love" words to go in our apartment, and we both gave each other some sweet as well as some funny cards. We relaxed during the day... Mike got a much needed pedicure that I knew he had been wanting for a while! I went to the mall and got my makeup done. We just hungout most of the afternoon at home with Dylan. Then around 5:00pm we went up to grandmas house to drop dylan off for his night of fun with Amy and Claire! He had a blast with them, he loves his aunt amy and his cousin claire so much. They got some really cute pictures throughout their night. Me and Mike headed out to Scottsdale for dinner at the Hyatt!! It was amazing!! We got there early so we could walk around a little before dinner. The hotel is on a beautiful golf course with a lake and water running throughout the entire grounds. Beautiful waterfalls, the pool was unreal, and the view was amazing. We went to dinner at Alto (an italian restaurant at the hotel). We got great seats outside on the patio, which had a beautiful view. It was chilly outside, but we sat next to these big fire pits, so it was perfect. We had an amazing dinner then they surprised us with a "Happy Anniversary" dessert. The dessert was arranged like a gondola. Then he gave us our complimentary passes to take a gondola ride after dinner. The gondola ride was so nice and relaxing. We rode in a real gondola named "isabella" and even had real Gondolier sing an italian song just like we were in Venice:-) It was beautiful at night because everything was all lit up. As we were leaving there was a live jazz band playing in the sushi bar. We listened to a couple songs...the atmosphere at this place was so romantic and relaxing. It was a perfect evening. Thank you so much Amy for watching Dylan so we could go out and celebrate!! Just the beginning of many more wonderful years to come!!!
